CNAs are responsible for making basic observations about patients that involve all body systems and the patient?s response to treatment. CNA’s are responsible for making sure patients are comfortable. Some of the tasks they perform include assisting patients in taking medications, monitoring and recording symptoms, measuring blood pressure, and helping patients to bath, change, and eat. CNAs serve as the eyes and ears of the nursing staff, and they work in medical hospitals, nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living facilities.
