Long gone are the days when Male Hair Designs were pretty much the same cut across all heads, be they men or boys. The short back and sides cut, as it was simply known as, was nothing more than a bog standard trim to keep the men’s hair short and sharp, but it was certainly not what you might call a style. Today’s hairdos are far more adventurous for we men, and we can wear it as big, as small, and bald, or as crazy as we like, and no one is going to beat us up for being experimental. Ok, so a lot of modern men’s hairstyles have made some fellas a bit to pretty for their own good, especially the Emo styles, but at the end of the day we live in a world which is more tolerant than that of our father and forefathers, and as a consequence, we as people are far more confident in ourselves. Yes, a hair cut, a new style, or change of color, really does define who we are at that time, and how we feel within ourselves. Playing with hair is fun, it’s mind altering, it’s fashionable (or not), but most of all, it’s liberating.
