Bachelors Degree Online Programs 2010

Is the Bachelors Degree Online really Worth the Effort? We all know that education opens doors to all kinds of opportunities, let alone broadens the mind, but Online Degree Programs are not cheap, and can take many years of part time study to complete. There is also the other setback of employers looking at distant learning, and especially the internet based programs, as second rate education, thus placing an unfair bias on those folks who have bust a gut to get them. Officially, all sectors of the workplace are said to recognise online degree programs as equal to those who achieved their papers by attending bricks and mortar universities, but unofficially, and statistically proven, is the fact that they are not. Educational qualifications often take precedence too over occupational experience and qualifications, so the question is this; have societies moved on or are they stuck in the mud when it comes to employing staff? It seems that a lot of good people are loosing the opportunity to prove themselves simply because they got their qualifications a little later on in life, and in an unconventional way.
